/

Welcome to the Episode 17 of Home is Where the Horror is. Brian and Monica are your horror hosts who want to share their love of all things spooky with you.

In tonight’s episode Monica gets to choose the topics so we discuss

  • Thirteen Ghosts (2001)
  • Kuchisake-Onna
  • The Winchester House

Monica starts us off with one of her favorite horror movies Thirteen Ghosts (2001). This spin on the 1960 remake is campy and filled with a great set design and some amazing looking ghosts. For her myth she uncovers a unique Japanese Yokai called the Kuchisake-Onna which is a beautiful young woman who covers her face asking lone travelers if she is pretty? Then she reveals what is underneath. Closing out the episode Monica covers one of the most interesting and notable homes in America the Winchester House, which was built to confuse the many ghosts thought to be haunting Mary Winchester.
