Keeping the Christmas Horror movies rolling, Brian chose one of his favorites, Gremlins from 1984. The most well known depiction of these mischievous little creatures this Joe Dante/Spielberg collaboration is a classic. Keeping with the Gremlins theme Brian also covers the origins of the myth, dating back to WW1 when pilots would experience mechanical failures and needed something to blame. The haunted place is actually based on the set of the Poltergeist when the director (Hooper) used real skeletons which many people believe were the cause of the unexpected death for multiple cast members.
