Welcome to the Episode 16 of Home is Where the Horror is. Brian and Monica are your horror hosts who want to share their love of all things spooky with you.

In tonight’s episode Brian gets to choose the topics so we discuss

  • House on Haunted Hill (1959)
  • Gashadokuro
  • Taliesin

After giving Monica the option for a black and white film or a movie with subtitles Monica went with black and white, so I chose House on Haunted Hill. Since I know the remake is one of her favorite movies I wanted her to see what this campy fun flick is all about. For my myth I chose the Gashadokuro which is a Japanese Yokai that takes the form of a giant skeleton that decapitates its victims. Finally, since Frank Lloyd Wright designed the house showcased in House on Haunted Hill I decided to cover one of his other major know homes, Taliesin. One day seven people were brutally murdered and the original house was burned down.
